A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, SELECTING A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR, APPROVING A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF FUNDS FOR THE :2004 WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, sohctted proposals for englneenng, design, and
plaunmg related to the 2004 Water System Improvements. and
WHEREAS, the selection of Malcolm Pirme, Inc. is being recommended as the most highly
qualified prowder of the engmeenng, design, and planning services: now, therefore.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station. Texas.
PART I.
That the City Council hereby finds that Malcolm Ptrnie, Inc. IS the most
highly qualified provider of the services for 2004 Water System
Improvements Project on the basis of demonstrated competence and
qualifications.
PART 2.
That the City Councd hereby approves thc contract with Malcolm P~mie,
Inc. for an amount not to exceed $541,685.00 for the engineering, design,
and planning services related to the 2004 Water System Improvements
Project.
PART 3. That the funding for tlus project shall be as budgeted from the Water
Capital Projects Fund in the amount of $541,685.00.
PART 4' That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage
ADOPTED this 26 th day of February , A D. 2004
