RESOLUTION NO. 10-21-2004-12.05
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, SELECTING A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR, APPROVING A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT, AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITlIRE OF
FUNDS FOR THE VETERANS PARK AND ATHLETIC COMPLEX, PHASE II PROJECT,
PK 0501.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas solicited proposals for the professional design
services; and
WHEREAS, the selection of O'Malley Engineers, L.L.P. is being recommended as the most highly
qualified provider of the design services; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART I: That the City Council hereby finds that O'Malley Engineers, L L.P., is the most highly
qualified proVider of services for the Veterans Park and Athletic Complex, Phase 11
proJect on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications.
PART 2: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with O'Malley Engineers, L.L.P.,
for an amount not to exceed $458,485.00 for the professtonal design services related to
the Veterans Park and Athletic Complex, Phase II project.
PART 3: That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the FY 2005 General
Government Parks Capital Improvement Projects Fund in the amount of $458,485.00.
PART 4' That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
