A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS,
SELECTING A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR, APPROVING A REAL PROPERTY
ACQUISITION PROVIDER SERVICES CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR THE AQUISITION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY AND REAL
PROPERTY FOR ELECTRIC CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, wishes to engage the services of a right-of-way
acquisition agent to assist in the acqmsition of right-of-way and real property for Electric Capital
Improvement ProJects: and
WHEREAS, the selection of JMP Land Services, LLC is being recommended to provide right-of-way and
real property acqmsition services, and
WHEREAS, right-of-way and real property acquisition services is a procurement for personal,
professional, or planning service and is exempt from b~dding under Chapter 252 022 (aX4) of the Texas
Local Government Code, now therefore.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas
PART I
That tile City Council hereby finds that .IMP Land Services. LLC is quahfied to prowde
services for the acquisition of right-of-way and real property related to various Elecmc
Capital Improvement Projects
PART 2:
That the City Councd hereby approves tile contract with JMP Land Services, LLC for an
amount not to exceed $65,000.00 for right-of-way and real property acquisition provider
services related to various Electric Capital Improvement Projects
PART 3
That the funding for these projects shall be as budgeted from Electric Capital Improvement
ProJect Ftmds in the amount of $65,000 00
PART 4' That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
