A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, COLLEGE STATION INDEPENDENT
SCHOOL DISTRICT AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2-10-2005.12.2. THE AMENDMENT
IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CHANGING A POLLING PLACE LOCATION FOR PRECINCTS
NO. 1, 2A, AND 82 FROM WELLBORN COMMUNITY CENTER TO THE TEMPORARY
POLLING PLACE, WELLBORN SPECIAL UTILITY DISTRICT, IN THE MAY 7, 2005
ELECTION.
WHEREAS, on February 10, 2005, the City of College Station, Texas, adopted
Resolution No. 2-10-2005.12.2, and same resolution was adopted by the College Station
Independent School District on February 15, 2005, ordering elections to be held in said city and
school district on May 7, 2005; for the purpose of electing Places 1, 3, and 5 on the College
Station City Council, and Positions 6 and 7 on the Board of Trustees for the College Station
Independent School District; providing procedures relating to the conduct of said elections; and
providing for a runoff election in the City of College Station; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2-10-2005.12.2 named Wellborn Community Center as the
permanent polling place for Precincts 1, 2A and 82; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined to change the polling place for Precincts 1, 2A and
82 from Wellborn Community Center, 4119 Greens Prairie Road, to the temporary polling place
of Wellborn Special Utility District, 4118 Greens Prairie Road; now, therefore
BE IT JOINTLY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS, AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE COLLEGE STATION
INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT:
PART 1: That the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas and the Board of
Trustees, College Station Independent School District hereby officially amends
PART 8 of Resolution No. 2-10-2005.12.2 as follows:
PART 8: Said elections shall be held in the following election precincts, and voting shall
be conducted at the polling places shown below:

PART 2: That the Mayor of the City of College Station and the President of the college
Station ISD Board of Trustees are hereby authorized to sign an official NOTICE
OF GENERAL ELECTION listing the precincts and polling place locations for
the joint election with the change in polling place location for Precincts No. 1, 2A,
and 82. A copy of the NOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION when published in a
newspaper of general circulation in English and Spanish, shall serve as proper
notice of the City's election.
PART 3: That this joint resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.

TO THE REGISTERED VOTERS OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, AND
COLLEGE STATION INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT.
Notice is hereby given that the polling places listed below will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
on Saturday, May 7, 2005 for voting in a general election to elect City Council Places 1, 3, and 5,
and Positions 6 and 7 on the Board of Trustees of the College Station Independent School District.

Early voting shall be conducted by personal appearance and by mail. The period for early voting shall be
April 20, 2005 through May 3, 2005. The Early Voting Clerk for said elections shall be the City
Secretary. She shall appoint city employees and additional assistance by qualified individuals of the
community to serve as deputy early voting clerks to assist her at the early voting polling places. The
Executive Assistant to the Superintendent for the College Station Independent School District shall serve
as Deputy Early Voting Clerk in said elections. The main early voting polling place by personal
appearance shall be in the City Hall Finance Conference Room, 1101 Texas Avenue, College Station,
Texas. Two branch early voting locations shall be designated for these elections.

POR CUANTO, El 10 de febrero, 2005, la Ciudad de College Station, Texas,
adopt6 la Resoluci6n No. 2-10-2005.12.2 y la misma resoluci6n fue adoptada por el
Distrito Escolar Independiente de College Station el 15 de febrero, 2005, ordenando que
se conduzcan elecciones en dicha ciudad y distrito escolar el 7 de mayo, 2005; con el
prop6sito de elegir los Lugares 1, 3 y 5 del Consejo Municipal de College Station , y las
Posiciones 6 y 7 de la Junta Directiva del Distrito Escolar Independiente de College
Station; proveyendo los procedimientos relacionados con la conducta de dichas
elecciones; y proveyendo una elecci6n de desempate en la Ciudad de College Station; y,
POR CUANTO, La Resoluci6n No. 2-10-2005.12.2 nombr6 al Centro
Comunitario de Wellborn como el sitio de votaci6n permanente para los Precintos 1, 2A
y82;y
POR CUANTO, se ha determinado que se va a cambiar el sitio de votaci6n para
los Precintos 1, 2A y 82 del Centro Comunitario de Wellborn, 4119 Greens Prairie Road,
al Distrito Especial de Obras Publicas del Agua de Wellborn, 4118 Greens Prairie Road;
