The City of College Station is engaged in
the distribution of electrical energy to its
citizens owners and ;the City Council is
cognizant of its public utility responsibility
in connection with the provision of
electrical service in the most cost effective
manner.
An election was held on the 2nd day of
April, 1983, for the purpose of electing
three councilmen.
There was considered the return of an
election held on the 2nd day of April,1983,
or the purpose of electing three councilmen.
The City Council of the City of College
Station is desirous of authorizing its
administrative staff to repreent and act for
the City in dealing with the Texas Parks
and Wildlife Department concerning this
program.

The City Council of the City of College
Station passed Ordinance No.1433 on July
6,1983 submitting 10 bond proposals to the
voters of the City of College Station at an
election that was held on August 13,
1983.
An election was held on the 13th day of
August, 1983 for the purpose of considering
the question of ten bond propositions and
twenty-two amendments to the city charter.

It was considered that the returns of an
election that was held on the 13th day of
August, 1983, for deciding the question of
authorization for the sale of bonds for
municipal improvements , and the question
of amending the city charter
The city of Bryan and College Station and
business community recognizes the student
body of Texas A&M University by
declaring, August 30, 1983 as AGGIE DAY
in Bryan -College Station.
The Planning and Zoning commission of
the City of College Station recommended
adoption of the proposed comprehensive
plan for the City of College Station. The
Comprehensive Plan was adopted for the
City of College Station.
The land use plan for "The Parks," a 2300 -
acre high technology industrial, residential,
commercial, and recreational development,
was developed by a joint planning effort
between J.A.C. Developers, Inc. and the
staff of the City of College Station.
It was resolved by the City Council of the
City of College Station that Lawrence
(Larry) Burnside be nominated for position
on the Brazos County Appraisal District
Board of Directors.

6 to the south of the City of College Station,
Texas.
Directing the giving of notice of intention to
adopt a concurrent ordinance to provide for
the creation of a municipal power
agency:contatining other provisions relating
to the subject: making certain finding in
connection therewith: providing an effective
date: and declaring an emergency
The rate of pay for election judges and
clerks in city elections be fixed at $5.00 per
hour, and: an amount of $25.00 will be paid
to the presiding judge for delivering the
election returns.

The City of College Station determined the
necessity of extending municipal water
transmission lines south of the city along
Texas Highway 6 to the eventual site of a
new elevated water storage tank at Greens
Prairie Road and Texas Highway 6, the
extension of a parallel electric feeder line
for new customers within the annexed area
of the city, and for other public utilities as
needed.
It was resolved that the City of College
Station did not give favorable review until
it was given thorough consideration of the
specifics of the proposed Municipal
Utility District and until all of the following
criteria and conditions were met.
