A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, SELECTING A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR, APPROVING A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF FUNDS FOR THE JONES -BUTLER PHASE II PROJECT (ST0005).
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, solicited proposals for the engineering services
for the Jones -Butler Phase II Project; and
WHEREAS, the selection of Bleyl & Associates is being recommended as the most highly
qualified provider of the engineering services; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby finds that Bleyl & Associates is the most
highly qualified provider of the services for Jones -Butler Phase II Project
on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications.
PART 2: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Bleyl &
Associates for an amount not to exceed $123,600.00 for the engineering
services related to the Jones -Butler Phase II Project.
PART 3: That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the Nov. 98
G.O. Bond Authorization Fund in the amount of $2,036,000.00 and from
the Utility Revenue Bond in the amount of $40,000.00 for water, and from
the Utility Revenue Bond in the amount of $33,000.00 for wastewater.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 28th day of July, A.D. 2005.
