JUNE 29, 1944
Members present: Mayor Langford; Councilmen Brown, E. E., Brown, R. L.,
Harrington; and City Manager Smith.
Mr. H. H. Berlin appeared before the Council for Mr. J. J. Rady to discuss
certain proposed extensions to sewer lines.
On motion by R. L. Brown, seconded by E. E. Brown, Mr. Smith was instructed
to cooperate in the program for developing a playground in vicinity of the
Consolidated School.
On mot ion by M. T. Harrington, seconded by R., L. Brown, the Budget for the
ensuing year was adopted.
Mr. Smith was instructed to arrange for contracts in connection with sewer
extension, surfacing of streets, and other improvements.
