-- MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL, OCTOBER 2, 1941.
Members Present: Mayor Anderson, Aldermen Munson, Orr and Wilcox.
Motion was made by Mr. Orr, seconded by Mr. Wilcox, that the city
agrees to pay the Negro School for Timber Street; an amount equal
to the cost of extending a water line from the city lines to the
School, and, not to exceed $ 500. Motion carried.
It was agreed by the Council to set the city tax rate at 60¢' per
$ 100.
Motion was made by Mr. Orr, seconded by Mr. Wilcox, to adopt the
recommendation of the Zoning Commission, that the following areas
be placed as No. 1 Residential area: Lots 1-10 inclusive, Block :L
Lots. 1-3 " " .3
Lots 1-10 " " 3,
All of this area is in the subdivision, known as Holick's Restrio;-
