The City Council met in regular session in the City Office, on Thursday, march 20, at 7 P.M. with Mayor Anderson, Councilmen Or , Wilcox, Langford, Lipscomb, and Aunson present. A motion was made by Mr. Munson, sedonded by Mr. Wilcox, that the Council accept Ordinance No. 57, as recommended by the Utili.k Committee, granting a franchise to the Community Natural Gas Co. Motion carried by a unanimous vote. It was agreed to refer to the Utility Committee on April 1, thos: persons who have not made their sewer taps. Motion was made by Mr. Lipscomb, seconded by Mr. Orr, to issue permits on the milk ordinance. Motion was made by :mr. Lipscomb, seconded by Mr. Orr, to adopt Qrd.Lnance iso. -58- An Ordinance providing that it shall be unlaw- ful to allow livestock and poultry to run at large, etc., within the city limits. Motion carried. The following report was mt.de by the auditing committee to the Council: Mr. mayor, ( ) We, your committee, that was assigned the dut to audit the city's accounts, have done so to the best of our abilities and as completely as circumstances would permit. In the light of this sdper.ficial examinaticm this committee is con- vinced that as early es possible a thorough audit should bo made of the city's books, and accounts, which should be available on or before the adoption of the new system of account keeping for the city Your committee directed Mr. Langford to present these problems to Mr. Bradshaw and insist that those jobs be dcm l at the earliest possible date. __.
