A speial meetine of the city council was held in the city office kt 7 P.1u,. , ir!ondday, July 15, with Mayor Anderson presiding, and Oouncilmen Orr, 1"unson, Langford, and City Elyinner McNew pr sent; Motion was made by i,ir. Munson, seconded by mr. 1iangford, that the nayor he given the authority to pe.y Iv'iss Cerll for working up the city tax roll for the hoard of Imlualizstion. Mr. Langford reommended to continue to use Miss Cerl1 as sec- retary for the Bocrd of i,qualization. it was egreed that Mr. Brown, the city marshell, is to contact Mr. Scott in Bran, in reference to the fire plug w ich is to he placed at the north gate. Mr. Munson read a report from the Utility Committee on uvest Park Addition utilities. A special meeting of the city council was held in the city office at 7 P.M., Monday, July 15, with Mayor Anderson presiding, and Councilmen Orr, Munson, Langford, and City Engineer McNew present. Motion was made by Mr. Munson, seconded by Mr. Langford, that the Mayor be given the authority to pay Miss Carll for working up the city tax roll for the board of Equalization. Mr. Langford recommended to continue to use Miss Carll as sec- retary for the Board of Equalization. It was agreed that Mr. Brown, the city marshall, is to contact Mr. Scott in Bryan, in reference to the fire plug which is to be placed at the north gate. Mr. Munson read a report from the utility Committee on West Park Addition utilities. On motion by Mr. Orr, seconded by Mr. Lang- ford, the following recommendation was approved," The Zoning Commission be asked to consider the moving of zoning restrictions in the West Park Addition to such an extent that the east half of Mrs. St. Clair's lot ( Boarding House) and the northerly tier of lots from the present business houses to old State Highway # 6, he regarded as Boarding House District, and No. 1 Business Property respectively." Motion was made by Mr. Orr, seconded by Mr. Langford, to have the brush and trash removed from the stream of water near the Raymond Rogers home. Motion carried. It was agreed to use Mr. Cunningham to help with this work.
