Minutes of the Meeting of the City Council Dec. 14 ,1K9.
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of
College Station was held at the City Office Dec. 14,
at 7 P.M. with Mayor Binney presiding, and Aldermen
Jones, Wilcox and Gabbard , and City Attorney Barger in
attendence.
Dr. Clark and Mr. Gorzycki were also present. Dr. Clark
discussed with the members of. the Council the utilities
of the Southside Development Company.
A motion was made by 7ilcox and seconded by Jones , to
pay 868 .25 to the First State Bank and Trust Company
for notes end interest. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Jones and seconded by Gabbard to
pay the Texas League of Municipalities a bill of
20.00. Yotion carried.
A motion was made by Jones and seconded by Wilcox, that ,
in view of the interest of the 8ity of College Station
in all public utility lines within the city, the
the Southside Development Comnany be invited to sub-
( mit an offer for the sale of its lines to the city.
Motion carried.
