Steele , and City Marelall Hopper, and City ".ttorney Barger in attendance. Mr. Orr and Mr. Boughton were also present. Langford reported that he met with Dr. 'Walton and dis- cussed the following: It was to be suggested to the Board of Directors of the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas that the City of College Station enter into an a.greer. ent with Bryan to supply water to the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas end then have it in turn su-npl,y water to College Station. • On motion of ' itchell and seconded by Gabbard , it waE the unanamous opinion that a committee should meet wit'r the board to c'iscuss this natter. The following ordinance was duly presented and approv- ed : [2 ,An Ordinance to receive the Inhabitants residing in Certain Territory Adjoining the Limits of the City of College Station, Texas, Into Said City. On motion of Langford and seconded by Mitchell the ordinance was unanamously adopted. A vote of thanks was extended to Mr. J. A. Orr for staking out the boundaries of the City of College Stat- ion, Texas. There was lengthy discussion onthe sewage disposal situation and Mr. Steele agreed to make a survey of the situation as it now is and make a report at a later meet- in The traffic problem was discussed and Hopper pave a report on the work he had done along this line. lang- ford proposed that Binney write a letter to 'r. It was moved by J'itchell and seconded b:.T Gabbard that Langford arrange for getting a minicipal court seal for the city of College Station. The motion unanamously carried. It was moved by Mitchell nd secnnded by Langford that City Attorney Barger investigate the taxing of taxigab and draw up an ordinance for such taxing. Meeting adjourned.
