Members present : Mayor Binney, Aldermen Mitchell ,
.7ilcox, Langford , City Attorney Barger , Marshall , Hop-
p ._
Mr. Barger was authorized to notify all agencies di€-
tributing any services to the City to file annualreports
in accordance with requirements of the law.
Mr. Langford was authorized to order a corporate seal
to conform with the law regulating such seals.
The Council authorized the Mayor to transmit to the
Committee on Community Chest a request that that com-
mittee grant the Council a sum o- money in the ar-.ount
of wt300.00 to assist in defraying 'expenses for the
time being.
The following officers were appointed by the Council ;
J. T. L. McNew, City Engineer; E. W. Steel , Sanitary
Engineer; J. Z. Marsh , City Health Officer.
L. P. Gabbard was elected Mayor pro tempore.
( ) I,`r. Barger try,, s authorized to prepare an easement to
be presented to the City of Bryan in connedtion with
the laying of water mains within the corporate limits
of the City of College Station.
Mr. Honper was authorized to work with the office
of the Commandant and with Col. Ike Ashburn in attempt-
ing to arrive at a satisfactory solution of traffic
problems of the campus.
