COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor White, Mayor Pro Tern Gay, Council
members Crompton, Massey, Scotti, Ruesink, Mcllhaney
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Brown, City Attorney Cargill Jr., City Secretary
Hooks, Assistant City Secretary Casares, Management Team
Special Agenda Item No. 1— Call meeting to order.
Mayor White called meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Special Agenda Item No. 2 Public hearing, presentation, possible action, and
discussion regarding the service plan for six areas identified for annexation under
the exempt status.
Lance Simms, Assistant Director of Planning and Development presented briefly the
back ground information on the annexation and reported questions frequently asked by
citizens "Annexation Considerations, Annexation Service Plan, was presented to the City
Council" Crissy Hard, Staff Planner presented information on area 2. Feed back on this
item will be held at the February 14, 2008 Workshop meeting and a consideration and
possible action on an ordinance for the annexation will be presented on February 28,
2008 regular agenda meeting. Peter Caler, B.V. Solid Waste Management Agency,
briefly talked about the water services after the annexation.
Council member Scotti arrived at 7:10 p.m.
Mayor White opened Public hearing at 7:28 p.m.

Council member Gay briefly commented that he apposed annexation on areas 3 4 & 5
Special Agenda Item No. 3.-- .Adiourn.
Hearing no objections, Mayor White entertained a motion. Council member Massey
moved to adjourned at 8:58 p.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2008. Council member Gay
seconded the motion which carried 7 -0
PASSED and APPROVED this 14 day of February 2008.
