AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF AN EASEMENT ON
LOT 15, BLOCK 8, OF SOUTHWOOD SECTION SEVEN (1008 MADERA CIRCLE),
COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, on August 11, 1988, the City Council of the City of Col-
lege Station, Texas, heard the application of Clarence Lee Hough,
Jr., and Patricia Suzanne Hough, for the abandonment of a strip
of land previously dedicated as a portion of a utility easement
located on Lot 15, Block 8, Southwood Section Seven (1008
Madera), in the City of College Station, Brazos County, Texas,
more particularly set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STA-
TION, TEXAS, that the City Council of the City of College Station
hereby vacates and abandons a strip of land previously dedicated
as a portion of a utility easement as stated above and authorizes
the Mayor of the City of College Station to execute a quit -claim
deed to Clarence Lee Hough, Jr. and Patricia Suzanne Hough for
the abandoned portion of the easement.

The encroachment of part of a one-story house
located at 1008 Madera Circle, on a 20' wide
utility easement, Located within Lot 15,
Block 8, SOUTHWOOD SECTION SEVEN, City of
College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and
being further described as follows:
COMMENCING at a set 1/2" iron rod in the
southeasterly right-of-way line of Madera
Circle for the common corner of Lots 14 and
15 on the centerline of said 20' wide utility
easement;
THENCE along said right-of-way line a curve
to the left, a radius of 1083.94', chord
bears S 580 21' 48" W a distance of 10.07';
THENCE along the southwesterly side of said
20' wide utility easement the following
calls:
S 38° 32' 38" E a distance of 21.41' to
the northwesterly line of said house for
the POINT OF BEGINNING of encroachment;
S 380 32' 38" E across said house a dis-
tance of 29.55';
THENCE N 330 38' 09" W along the northeas-
terly Line of said house a distance of
29.45';
THENCE S 56° 21' 51" W along the northwes-
terly line of said house a distance of,2.53'
to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 37.2
square feet more or less lying within said
20' wide utility easement.

For the consideration Grantor quitclaims to Grantee all of Grant-
or's right, title, and interest in and to the property, to have
and to hold it to Grantee, Grantee's successors and assigns, for-
ever. Neither Grantor nor Grantor's successors and assigns shall
have, claim, or demand any right or title to the property or any
part of it. f;
