Call to Order and announce a Quorum. 2. Hear Visitors. Visitors after stating name and address for the record may address the Historic Preservation Committee for three (3) minutes. Topics for deliberation shall be discussed under the appropriate agenda item, placed on the agenda of a subsequent meeting, or assigned to staff for research. However, a statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be issued. 3. Possible action and discussion on absence requests. 4. Possible action and discussion of previous minutes. 5. Discussion about the new role of HPC as a subcommittee of Parks Board by David Schmitz, Parks and Recreation Director. 6. Discussion of future plans and programs for HPC (Historic Marker Program, Oral History, Historic Website, Special Events, and Marketing) 7. Presentation, possible action, and discussion regarding the 2014 Exploring History Lunch Series, including update regarding specific efforts to secure sponsors for 2014 Exploring History Lunch Series. 8. Activity Report - by Jared Donnelly, Historic Records Coordinator. 9. Presentation, possible action, and discussion of historical items presented by committee members, which may include historical books, pictures, artifacts, scrapbooks, or other memorabilia. No action will be taken. 10. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on future agenda items - A Historic Preservation Member may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. Any deliberation shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting. 11. Adjourn. Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Historic Preservation Committee of the City of College Station, Texas will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 4 p.m. at the Municipal Court at 300 Krenek Tap Road, College Station, Texas 77842.
