AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 20.484 TRACT OF LAND SITUATED OUT OF
THE ROBERT STEVENSON LEAGUE, ABSTRACT 54, IN COLLEGE STATION,
BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS FROM C-! GENERAL COMMERCIAL, A-O
AGRICULTURAL OPEN, AND R-IA SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO R-I
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall Counctl Chambers
at 7:00 pm on March 12, 1992. on the questton of rezoning certain areas within the City
limits:
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classilicatton of a 20.484 acre tract of land situated out of the
Robert Stevenson League, Abstract 54, in College Station, Brazos County, Texas and
being a portion of the 86.46 acre tract conveyed by Timothy J. Crowley and Robert B.
Waltman to Fountainhead Development Corp., Inc. by deed dated July 24, 1991 and
recorded in Volume 1304, Page 43 of the Offictal Records of Brazos County, Texas;
from C-~ General Commerctal. A-O Agrtcultural Open, and R-IA Single Family
Residential to R-1 Single Family Restdential. More specifically described by metes and
bounds as follows:
BEGINNING: at a 5/8" iron rod found marking the east corner of the said 86.4~ acre
tracl, said iron rod also lying in the soulhwest right-of-way line of State Highway No. 6
and the northwest hne of Barton Road;
THENCE. S 45° 22' 41" W along said Barton Road line for a distance of 91648 feet to
a point for corner,

also being in the before mentioned southwest right-of-way line of State Highway No. 6;
THENCE S 45° 58' 05' E along said right-of-way line for a distance of 67000 feel to
an angle point,
THENCE: S 40° 15' 26' E for a dmtance of 201 00 feet to an anglc point;
THENCE: S 45° 58' 24' E for a dmlance of 239.75 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE: S 04° 25' 58' E for a distance of 67.79 feet to the Point of Beginning and
containing 20.484 acres of land, more or less.
AND, it is ordained that sand change shall become effective immediately.
