AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 6-D.2, 6-D.3, AND 9-1 OF THE
SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF FEES
BY RESOLUTION AND CLARIFYING SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, held a public
heanng on Thursday, October 28, 1993, to determine the necessity of these
ordinance amendments,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS.
That Chapter 9, Section 6-D 2, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College
Station, Texas is hereby amended to read as follows.
"6-D.2 F,hnR Fees
There shall be an application fee as established by Council resolution from time to
time for the fll~ng of the final plat."

That Chapter 9, Section 6-D.3, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College
Station, Texas is hereby amended to read as follows.
"6-D 3 Time of Filin~
Ten (10) copies of the final plat, together with a film positive thereof, two (2)
sets of construction plans and documents, tax payment certificates, and a
formal application shall be filed with the City, w~th the application fee, at least
fourteen (14) days prior to the meeting of the Commission at which it is to be
considered The final plat will not be considered unless a preliminary plat has
been filed and approved, except in the case of dedication of land for a street,
park, school site, or drainage easements"

That Chapter 9, Section 9-1, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College Station,
Texas is hereby' amended to read as follows:
"9-1 Enaineerin¢~
9-11 The City will charge for engineering inspection during construction and
for final inspection as established by Council resolution from time to t~me;
however, it is to be understood that the City w~ll do no layout work or daily
inspection.
9-1.2 The C~ty may require compaction tests on embankments and flexible
bases, and depth tests on flexible bases and pavements, and pressure tests
on piping systems, before final ~nspectlon and approval. Charges for such
inspection shall be as established by Council resolution from time to time"

This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage in accordance w~th
the City Charter of the City of College Station, Texas
