AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, "TRAFFIC CODE ", SECTION 10 -4,
"ADMINISTRATIVE ADJUDICTION OF PARKING VIOLATIONS," SUBSECTION G,
"TWO -HOUR PARKING - 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. MONDAY - FRIDAY ", OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, BY
PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; DECLARING A PENALTY; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1: That CHAPTER 10, "TRAFFIC CODE ", SECTION 10 -4,
"ADMINISTRATIVE ADJUDICTION OF PARKIGN VIOLATIONS,
SUBSECTION G, "TWO -HOUR PARKING - 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
MONDAY — FRIDAY ", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College
Station, Texas, be amended as set out in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a
part of this ordinance for all purposes.
PART 2: That if any provisions of any section of this ordinance shall be held to be void or
unconstitutional, such holding shall in no way effect the validity of the remaining
provisions or sections of this ordinance, which shall remain in full force and
effect.
PART 3 That any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this
chapter shall be deemed liable for a civil offense and/or guilty of a Class C
misdemeanor, and, upon a finding of liability thereof, shall be punished by a civil
penalty of not less than One Dollar ($1.00) nor more than Two Thousand Dollars
($2,000.00), or upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less
than Twenty -five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars
($500.00). Said Ordinance becomes effective ten (10) days after date of passage
by the City Council, as provided by Section 35 of the Charter of the City of
College Station.

EXHIBIT "A"
That CHAPTER 10, "TRAFFIC CODE ", SECTION 10 -4, "ADMINISTRATIVE
ADJUDICTION OF PARKING VIOLATIONS, SUBSECTION G, "TWO -HOUR
PARKING — 8:00 A.M. — 5:00 P.M. MONDAY — FRIDAY ", is hereby amended by deleting
Subsection G in its entirety and substituting a new Subsection G, "Two -Hour Parking ", and is to
read as follows:
G. Two -Hour Parking
(1) The designated Two -Hour Parking locations for the City of College Station are described
in the Traffic Schedule XV — "Two -Hour Parking" on file in the office of the City
Secretary. This schedule is hereby adopted and incorporated in this Code as is set out at
length herein. The schedule may be amended from time -to -time by ordinance of the City
Council. A current schedule shall be maintained by the City Secretary at all times.
(2) 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday
The City hereby designates certain areas as two -hour parking from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00
P.M., Monday through Friday as described in the Traffic Schedule XV — "Two -Hour
Parking ".
(3) 24 Hours a Day, Seven Days a Week
The City hereby designates certain areas as two -hour parking 24 hours a day, seven day a
week. Vehicles may park for a maximum of two -hours at no charge within the designated
parking stalls at the following locations as described in the Traffic Schedule XV —
"Two -Hour Parking ".
West side of Church Avenue beginning 43 feet north of its intersection with
University Drive and extending 160 feet to the north.
