1. Discussion and approval of an interlocal cooperation contract between the Texas
Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and the Brazos County Health
District (BCHD) for mobile food inspection services in an amount not to exceed
$68,720 — Santos Navarrette Jr.
2. Discussion and approval of a new fee of $12 to conduct lead testing for Head Start
and Early Head Start preschool children, which is required for Medicaid
enrollment — Santos Navarrette Jr.
3. Discussion and approval of budget amendments for procuring an electronic health
record (EHR); Amending administrative budget account 91000-53000100-
60500000 (equipment & I.T. enhancement) in the amount of $11,000; amending
administrative budget account 91000-53000100-72540000 (physician services) in
the amount of $45,000; amending environmental health budget account 91000-
53001000-80890000 (vehicles) in the amount of $16,000; amending laboratory
budget account 91000-53003000-80286000 (equipment -other) in the amount of

$7,000 for a total of $79,000 into account 91000-530001000-80212000 (software
subscription).
4. Discussion and approval of a 5-year sales agreement with Patagonia Health to
implement and replace existing EHR in the amount of $78,829.05 for initial
startup, training, and monthly subscription fees for first year. The second -year cost
of $33,697.25; third -year cost of $35,045.14; fourth -year cost of $36,446.94; and
fifth -year cost of $37,904.82 for a total 5-year contract of $221,923.20 — Santos

5. Discussion and approval on conducting a request for qualifications (RFQ) through
Brazos County Purchasing Department for replacement of the Medical Director or
BOH approving a professional exemption within the Texas Local Government
Code, Section 262.024 — Santos Navarrette Jr.
6. Discussion and approval of the BCHD's 2026-2029 strategic plan which is a
required element for Public Health Accreditation (PHAB) certification — Santos
Navarrette Jr.
7. Discussion and approval of draft changes to the Brazos County Public Health
District Cooperative Agreement dated October 1, 2009, with a recommendation to
proceed with routing to cities and county for coordination through the
administrative and legal processes — Santos Navarrette Jr.
8. Discussion and consideration from the BOH to revise BCHD FY 2027 budget and
approve one of the following options — Santos Navarrette Jr.
a. Approve the initial proposal requesting an additional $100,000 from each local
healthcare partner for the FY 2027 budget.
b. Approve revised budget without requesting an additional $100,000 from each
local healthcare funding partner for the FY 2027 budget.
