A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN ADVANCE FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH THE
STATE OF TEXAS ACTING THROUGH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION ("TxDOT") FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS ON WILLIAM
D. FITCH PARKWAY AT PEBBLE CREEK PARKWAY.
WHEREAS, the Texas Transportation Commission passed Minute Order Number 116752
authorizing the State to undertake and complete a highway improvement or other transportation
project generally described as signal installation William D. Fitch Parkway at Pebble Creek Parkway
(the "Project"); and
WHEREAS, the City of College Station desires to participate in the Project by funding portions of
the Project including environmental and engineering costs, including cost overruns, if any, for the
installation of a traffic signal; and
WHEREAS, the City of College Station desires to reaffirm its support of the Project, approve and
authorize the execution of an Advance Funding Agreement (AFA) with TxDOT for the Project.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby approves the agreement with TxDOT to contribute
certain costs associated with the Project.
PART 2: That the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the agreement.
PART 3: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of May, A.D. 2025.
