While they cost very little, if installed properly, smoke detectors save thousands of lives each Page 1 year. The proper placement of smoke detectors is very important. Smoke detectors should be installed in Inspector’s each sleeping room, outside each separate sleeping area, and on each additional story of the dwelling Corner unit.
