1. Call to Order.
Hear Visitors. Visitors after stating name and address for the record may address the Historic
Preservation Committee for three (3) minutes. Topics for deliberation shall be discussed under the
appropriate agenda item, placed on the agenda of a subsequent meeting, or assigned to staff for
research. However, a statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy
may be issued.
3. Possible action and discussion on absence requests.
4. Introduction of Historical Records Coordinator.
5. Possible action and discussion of minutes for:
• November 7, 2011
6. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on Sunset Advisory Commission survey.
7. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on a budget amendment request to the City Council.
8. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on requirements for business historical makers.
9. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on the College Station history book project.
10. Update and report on participation in Brazos Valley Worldfest.
11. Review, possible action, and discussion regarding the following sub - committees:
• Historic Marker Program — M.D. Marshall
• Oral History Transcription Project — Lou Hodges
• Exploring History Lunch Lecture Series — Susan Irza, Marci Rodgers, Ann Hayes
• Landmark Commission (Liaison) — Susan Irza
• 75th Anniversary — Linda Harvell, Patricia Cleere, Jerry Cooper, Susan Irza
• College Station Timeline & College Station History Book Advisor — Jerry Cooper
• College Station Oral History Interviews & Educational Initiatives — Libby Vastano, Susan

include historical books, pictures, artifacts, scrapbooks, or other memorabilia. No action will be
taken.
