MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
October 2, 1961
Members Present: Mayor Langford; Councilmen Anderson, Boyett, Landiss,
Rosprim, Sorrels; City Manager Boswell
Visitors Present: W. D. Fitch
Purpose of meeting: public hearing on Ordinance No. 324, Mr.
Fitch being the only person concerned no objection was offered. The
mayor declared the public hearing closed.
On motion by Councilman Landiss, seconded by Councilman Sorrels,
Ordinance No. 324, an ordinance annexing certain property -to the City
of College Station, was passed on second reading.
The Council adjourned to meet at 5.24 p.m. October 2, 1961, to
meet at 5:25 p.m, same date,

Landiss, Rosprim, Sorrels; City Manager Boswell
Visitors Present: W, D, Fitch
Purpose of meeting: to pass Ordinance No. 324
On motion by Councilman Landiss, seconded by Councilman Anderson,
Ordinance No. 324 was passed and approved, thus annexing the property
in question to the City of College Station.,
The council set 5:00 p.m. October 5, 1961, as the hour of a
special meeting to discuss certain improvements in connection with
the area annexed by Ordinance No, 324,,
The council adjourned subject to call.
