SUBJECT: Site Plan & Inspection Requirements for Acme Glass Warehouse (83 -430)
The purpose of this meeting was to reiterate to Mr. Morehead the things that need to
be accomplished before the warehouse can be finaled and occupied. The following
items were discussed:
(1) Legal will check to see if paperwork has been prepared and executed dedicating
a 20 ft. easement across the rear property line. If this has not been done,
it will have to be completed prior to receipt of a Certificate of Occupancy.
(2) City Engineer requires the alley from Walton to the end of the property to
be paved with 6" gravel topped with 1 -1/2" of asphalt. (Minimum of 15 feet wide
from Walton to beginning of Acme property, minimum of 20 feet across property).
(3) Water & Sewer Superintendent discussed installation of line required for
fire hydrant.
(4) Ass't, Director of Public Services allowed dumpster to be placed at south end
of property. If a fence is ever erected on the adjacent private property to
inhibit garbage trucks, then the dumpster will be relocated to the north end
as originally planned.
(5) Parking spaces must be marked and must be a minimum of 9 ft. wide by 20 ft.
long.
(6) Install some type of protection to separate the entire length of parking
spaces which are adjacent to loading spaces in front of loading doors. Mr.
Morehead indicated he would set posts to accomplish this.
(7) 6 ft. solid screen fence (landscaping will not suffice alone) along the south
and east property lines is required.
(8) Building Official reviewed inspections which need to be done:
(a) Building Inspections lacking are framing, final and Certificate of
Occupancy.
(b) Electrical Inspections lacking are rough -in and final.
(c) Plumbing Inspections lacking are top -out and final.
(d) Mechanical Inspection will have to be done if upstairs office area
is air conditioned.
