Cb 2 D CyO M MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING January 9, 1964 THE STATE OF TEXAS � COUNTY OF BRAZOS On this the 9th day of January, 1964, the city council of the City of College Station, Texas, convened in special session at the regular meeting place thereof with the following members present, to -wit: Ernest Langford Mayor J. A. Orr Councilman A. P. Boyett Councilman A. L. Rosprim Councilman J. H. Sorrels Councilman R. R. Rhodes Councilman J. L. Sandstedt City Attorney and the following absent: Councilman C. W. Landiss, constituting a quorum, and among other proceedings had were the following: Councilman Orr introduced a resolution and order and moved its adoption. the motion was seconded by Councilman Boyett, and the motion carrying with it the adoption of the resolution and order prevailed by the following vote, AYES: all, NOES: none. The resolution is as follows: There came on to be considered the returns of an election held on the 7th day of January, 1964, for the purpose of a preferential vote on adopting an ordinance regulating the running at large of dogs, etc., and it appearing from said returns, duly and legally made, that there were cast at said election 632 valid and legal votes; that there were 426 aye votes, 206 no votes: THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: That said election was duly called; that notice of said election was given in accordance with law, and that said election was held in accordance with law.
