CITY OF COLLEGE STATION
real, BiffLancaster, has lived aft but one year of his 79 years on Dexter Street in Coffege Station,
has fostered the growth of historic preservation in the City through personal example, through community
participation and through his generous sharing of his vast knowledge of our local history;
G,��eas, he has served 13 years as a member of the Historic Preservation Committee;
0/1 teas, he has participated in the Gorden 7vtemories video produced in 1988 in honor of the City of
Corrzge Station's 50th birthday, the Historic Homes Tour, and as moderator and panelist for the Memory
Lane Oral Histoiy Project from 1994 —1997;
01‘reas, he has contributed his personal and family history to Project HOLD through participation in
the 60th Anniversary Celebration of the end of World War II at the Geo ge Bush Presidential Library and
Museum on September 3, 2005, during the "Brazos County, Texas in World War II" event, as well as,
through his contributions of memorabilia to the "Brides of the Brazos" exhibit during 2006;

who are fortunate enough to know him, as weir as, anyone who happens to cross his path,
•frefore, the City of College Station, the Historic Preservation Committee, and the members of this
community express their most sincere appreciation for his dedication to preserving the history of College
Station, Texas, on this the 18th day outy, 2007.
