Minutes of Special Meeting
March 12, 1968
Members Present: Mayor Anderson; Councilmen Rosprim, Boyett, Cooley, Adams,
Rhodes and O. M. Holt; City Manager Boswell.
On motion by Councilman Cooley, seconded by Councilman Holt, a resolution accepting
the provisions of State Highway Commission Minute Order No. 60547 was approved.
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PROVISIONS OF
STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION MINUTE ORDER
THE STATE OF TEXAS X

College Station, Texas
March 12, 1968
MOTION was made by Councilman Cooley and seconded by Councilman Holt that the
College Station City Council accept the provisions contained in Minute Order No. 60547
passed by the State Highway Commission on February 29, 1968, for the improvements
by the Texas Highway Department on the roads described below:
Farm to Market Road 60 from present State Highway 6 Northeast to the
proposed location of State Highway 6, a distance of approximately 1.6
miles.
VOTE on the motion was as follows:
Homer B. Adams - yes
Bill J. Cooley - yes
O. M. Holt - yes
A. P. Boyett -yes
A. L. Rosprim - yes
Robert R. Rhodes - no
WHEREUPON the motion was declared carried.
On motion by Councilman Cooley, seconded by Councilman Boyett, Ordinance No. 561,
an ordinance abandoning easements across Lots 18, 19 and 20, Block 4, Redmond Terrace
Addition was approved.
The Council adjourned subject to call.
