Texas A &M University and
Bryan - College Station are get-
ting the once -over today in con-
nection with a proposed 1967
convention which would attract
4,000 to 6,000 delegates.
Two representatives of the
American Institute of Biological
Sciences will be here through
tomorrow considering Texas
A &M for the convention of 32
affiliated societies in August
1967.
They are Dr. John Olive, ex-
ecutive director, and Mrs. Ann
Kulkack convention manager of
the RIBS.
The 10 -day convention would
bring some $650,000 to the com-
munity in tourist trade, cham-
ber of commerce officials said.
St. Joseph Hospital patients
include Carolyn Ruth Watson,
Mrs. T. H. Maxwell, Bobby Ly-
ons, Mrs. Charles Noto, John
I- Morton, medical; Emma Phil -
.ips, surgical. Sharon Cul;en is
a surgical patient at Bryan Hos-
pital.
