The Commission heard this item on 17 July and voted 6-0 to recommend approval. The Council heard this item on 6 August and voted 4-0 for approval. A Comprehensive Land Use Plan amendment from Single Family Residential Medium Density to Industrial / R&D for 2.04 acres located at 3227 Rock Prairie Road West generally located south of the Williamsgate Subdivision and 2,000 feet west of the intersection with Wellborn Road. The Commission heard this item on 17 July and voted 6-0 to recommend approval. The Council heard this item on 6 August and voted 4-0 for approval. A rezoning from A-O Agricultural Open to C-2 Commercial-Industrial for 2.04 acres located at 3227 Rock Prairie Road West generally located south of the Williamsgate Subdivision and 2,000 feet west of the intersection with Wellborn Road. Staff asked the Board to make a recommendation for the proposed park land dedication zones that have been composed for future development in the ETJ. Shawn Rhodes made a motion to recommend the proposed park land dedication zones as submitted, and Kathleen Ireland seconded the motion. The vote was called. All were in favor, and the motion passed unanimously.
