1. Call to Order.
2. Possible action and discussion on absence requests.
3. Possible action and discussion to approve meeting minutes of regular meeting of
November 10, 2008.
4. Team building /get acquainted exercise.
5. Discussion of committee duties and responsibilities.
6. Presentation of FY09 Heritage Programs Budget.
7. Committee Reports and discussion on:
a. Exploring History Lunch Lectures .
b. Historic Markers Program
c. Oral History Project
d. Project HOLD .
8. Discussion and possible action regarding the proposal by the Parks Department for the
Historic Preservation Committee to work with them in a cooperative interpretive plan for
Veterans Park.
9. Review and list accomplishments of 2008 and set goals for 2009.
10. Make committee assignments for 2009.
11. Discussion and possible action regarding historic marker classifications.

13. Possible action and discussion on future agenda items — A Historic Preservation Member
may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A statement of specific
factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. Any deliberation
shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting.
