Meeting: Monday April 5, 1982 at 5:00 P. M. Courthouse
Civil Defense Office.
Present: Jake Canglose, Leland Freeman (Bryan), Harry Stiteler,
Warren Heffington (MOBDES), Ben Wormeli. (Judge Holmgreen
confered with Jake earlier).

The March Monthly Meeting was not held.
February 16 - Jake Canglose, Chief Charles Phelps and Leland
Freeman (BPD) attended the Annual Emergency Management
Conference in Austin.
March 25 - Ben Wormeli attended the Seminole Pipeline Co.
Emergency Procedure and Pipeline Safety Program meeting in
Brenham. Handbooks were distributed for our use.
Warren Heffington (MOBDES) completed a Brazos County
Heating System Survey of key locations for identifying heated
areas for use in case of an emergency during cold weather.
Eight All Weather Rain Guages furnished by the NOAA - Weather
Service Office at Waco are located at the Fire Stations of
Bryan and College Station, the Dansby Power Plant, the DPS,
and Civil Defense at 3411 Cavitt in Bryan. Current information
of current rainfall in the different location of this area
will be available in the event of flood threat.
Major emphasis at this meeting concerned updating our plan
for Severe Weather and Tornado Activities. Copies of our
Current plan were distributed for review and suggested re-
vision. These will be picked up and used in updating our plan.
A Tornado Warning Meeting of key personnel in concerned City
Departments will be held to present the updated information.
