November 6, 1978 - 5:00 P.M.
Present: Bill Koehler, Carroll Bell, Warren Heffington,
Harry Stiteler, James Presswood, Jake Canglose,
Ben Wormeli
Presiding: Jake Canglose
Mr. Canglose reviewed a Military Liaison Annex that
has been prepared by Col. Carroll Bell.
Col. Carroll Bell was assigned Item 10 of the Brazos
County Emergency Planning Program for 1979. Item 9
consists of completing the County Crisis Shelter
Marking Plan.
Capt. Warren Heffington will develope Emergency Plans
for Resource needs - fuel, radio repair, generator
repair and tire repair and replacement. This is item
No. 11 on the 1979 list of our goals for 1979.
Mr. Canglose advised that additional copies of the
Crisis Relocation Plans of the Brazos County host
counties - Burleson, Grimes and Robertson are being
prepared in Austin. These will be available to key
Civil Defense people.
Item 9 - Complete Crisis Relocation Plan (CRP).
Internal plan was discussed by Mr. Canglose. This
includes how to move the people out of the cities and
when to return - police control, etc.; also the place
for key people to report and assemble.
At 8:00 P.M. tonight (11/6), Mr. Canglose will present
the local Civil Defense Program to members of the
State Guard in the National Guard Armory.

7. TRAIN AUXILIARY POLICE, FIREMEN AND VOLUNTEER MARCH
SPOTTERS
8. HOLD TORNADO WARNING SEMINAR MARCH
9. COMPLETE CRISIS RELOCATION (CRP) INTERNAL PLAN APRIL
10. COMPLETE CRISIS SHELTER MARKING PLAN JULY
11. PROVIDE EMERGENCY PLANS FOR RESOURCE NEEDS IN JULY

2. RADIO EQUIPMENT REPAIR SERVICE
3. EMERGENCY GENERATOR REPAIR SERVICE
