Shelter & Assistant Managers Duties.
1 During Times of National Emergency requiring Fallout Protection
the Shelter Manager or his assistant will open shelter for use.
2 Persons will be accepted as a "First Come First Saved" basis
until shelter capacity is reached.
3 Shelter capacity will not be exceeded.
4 Shelter Manager will be responsible for order,control and
operation of shelter assigned.
5 Shelter Manager will have authority to appoint as many assistants
as he thinks wilL be needed. ( These will be selected from persons
in the shelter) .
6 Shelter Manager will designate storage area for food,medical and
all other supplies when delivered,and suprlies must be kept stored
in shelter area.
7 Shelter Manager may be requested to furnish periodic general
report of sunrly conditions and or replacements of damaged supplies
if needed. (Not more than four (4) timeas a year.
8 The Shelter Manager will be an appointed official of Brazos
County and will have authority to carry out the functions subscribed.
9 The Assistant Shelter Manager will take over in the absence of
Shelter Manager or perform duties delegated by Shelter Manager.
Training Required.
10 Shelter Manager will require training by local instructors in
shelter management. Training will be done in this area by local instructors
11 'Training will be schedule so es not to conflict if possible
with day to day job duties. (N be, of hours of training not yet
known,probably 8 -15 hours.)
12 Shelter Managers will als a called in for indoctrination
session. (Ai ^roximately thre 3) hours.
