Dear Randy:
Regarding the local State Guard Unit, Co.C, based in
Bryan, I would like to submit my endorsement and
support of their operations.
This unit has had an agreement with the local Civil
Defense office since it was organized to assist our
local governments on a voluntary basis whenever
called upon by this office. This has happened several
times in the past and the response of these men was
outstanding.
The local State Guard unit is a dedicated group of our
local citizens who give their spare time preparing them-
selves to assist the local community without any consid-
eration other than being of service to their local govern-
ment and fellow citizens.
I would highly recommend any assistance or support we
can give them.
This office considers the State Guard as one of our
most important emergency assets.
