THURSDAY - FEBRUARY 23, 1978 - 7:30 to 9:00 P.M.

Jake Canglose presiding - emphasising the need for constructive
participating.
Judge William R. Vance - set the tone of the meeting.
Jake Conglose outlined:
1. Civil Defense council structure - personnel.
.2. Meteorology Dept. - Radar personnel and method of
operation for severe weather warning.
3. Chart outlining the procedures for gathering and
disseminating severe weather information with
emphasis on tornados.
4. Showed NOAA Film - Tornado, A spotters guide -
excellent
5. Dr. Vance Moyer - outlined the place and importance
and proceedures for tornado spotters observations
and reporting.
6. Jake Canglose closed with a question and comment
session.
