Mineral Information
In the event a national emergency is declared and citizens are asked
to seek shelter, everyone is requested to b ring blankets, etc. for
sleeping purposes as these shelters do not have sleeping equipment.
There is only slightly more than 14,000 public shelter spaces available
in Brazos County. This means that more than half of our citizens will
not be able to find public shelter.
The marking and stocking of public shelters does not erase the
responsibility of each family to build their own private shelter. In
an emergency, be sure you have a shelter - - build your own.
Stmnle Rules for Survival in Nuclear War
1. Keep a Two -Week suppler of food and water
