Holmgreen County Judge Subject: Installation of Cable Television in Emer. Mgmt. /Civil Defense and Juvenile Services Departments In order to receive broadcasts of the Emergency Education Network (EENET) from Emmitsburg, Maryland, it is necessary that we have cable TV installed in the Emer. Mgmt. /Civil Defense conference room (Room 104) of the Courthouse. EENET is the Federal Emergency Management Agency's system for providing video training and education via satellite to fire service and emergency management personnel. (See attached 1989 EENET schedule). Cooke Cablevision broadcasts all EENET programs over Channel 24. Ernie Wentrcek would like to have cable television also installed in the Juvenile Detention section of Juvenile Services. It will be used to receive educational programs for the juvenile detainees. He has agreed to split the costs with Emer. Mgmt. /Civil Defense. The costs are as follows: One -time installation charge $50.00 Monthly charge for basic cable 16.95 Charge for each additional outlet 5.00 Total monthly charges $21.95 Please give consideration to this project at the next Com- missioners Court meeting.
