Buildings marked as Public Fallout Shelters will be used as fallout shelters during and after every actual or impending attack. B. Public Fallout shelters will be utilized on a first come - first served basis. C. Each public shelter will have the following civil defense officials assigned: 1. Shelter manager 2. Ass't Manager 3. Radiological Monitor D. All buildings marked as Public Fallout shelters are scheduled to be stocked with food, water, medical kits, sanitation kits and radiological monitoring instruments. (Persons utilizing public shelters shoud bring, if possible special medicines needed and blankets or quilts for sleeping purposes). E. Buildings marked as Fallout shelters have been surveyed for radiation protection only and do not necessarily offer pro - -aection from tornadoes or bomb blasts. Shelter i> anager will be responsible for order, control_ and operaticn of shelter assigned. 5. Shelter i'ianager will have authority to appoint as many assistants as he thinks Will be needed. (These will be selected from persons in the shelter). 6. Shelter i'ianager will designate storage. area for food, medical and all other supplies when delivered,. and supplies must be kept stored in shelter area. Shelter Lanager may be requested to furnish periodic general report of t• supply conditions and or replacements of damaged supplies if needed. (Not more than four (4) times a year) . The :shelter i-iunager will be appointed an official of Brazos Count. and will have authority to carry out the functions subscribed. y 9. The assistant Shelter Hanager will take over in the absence of the Shelter i•anater or perform duties delegated by Shelter i.anager. Training_ Regional 10. Shelter i will be given Regional Training by local instructors in shelter management. Traininr will be done in this area by local instructors. 11. Training will be scheduled so as not to conflict if possible with day to day job duties, (lumber of hours of training - $ hours) . uver night in shelter, f 12 Shelter Managers will also be called in for indoctrination session.
