We have about a six -weeks turn around for plaque castings. We need to keep this in mind when
selecting the text and dedication date.

David and Debbie:
I just talked to Syliva Grider and asked her if she would be willing to
write the text for the bonfire memorial at Brison Park. She said yes. She
will, however, be out of the country through July 18th so wouldn't be able
to do it until after that. I think the September meeting would be the
soonest we could review something from her. Does that sound OK to you?

The Brison Park Bonfire /Wemor/al Lights
When the Aggie Bonfire collapsed on November 18, 1999, killing
twelve Aggies and injuring scores more, the City of College Station
emergency units were among the first on the scene. In the dreadful
days that followed, the whole city grieved.
To celebrate the lives of those twelve fallen Aggies and to recognize
their undying Aggie spirit, the City of College Station dedicates the
twelve streetlights in Brison Park to their memory.
