Short, Violet. Texas A. and M. College Humor. June, 1930. Pages 50-51, 114-117.
This was an loose insert in the scrapbook and is reproduced here. It is possible that some of the printed items pasted on the various scrapbook pages were cut from the pages of this
or a similar magazine.
The autographs of classmates followed page 004. Included is a page containing signatures of classmates attending the 60th class reunion on March 24, 1991 (which was inserted after the
front cover).
Several photographs were inserted between but not attached to an album page and are shown by the letter i after the preceding page (thus page-030i.jpg sat between pages 030 and 031.
Where several photos were inserted, the individual prints may have been assigned a page number (such as pages 078 and 079). For this reason, odd and even numbered consecutive pages
do not necessarily indicate front and back scans of the same page.
Some photographs were glued or pasted to the album page and this has resulted in some discoloration of the print. For the most part, no attempt was made to digitally enhance the photo
except for several exceptions. On page 66, the discoloration was minimized, but doing so also reduces the quality of the detail in the final picture.
Several album pages included booklets affixed to the page. Where possible, these have also been scanned in their entirety (with the exception of the back page). These include the Annual
E.E. dance, the 1931 commence week program, and the Freshman Banquet program.
Additionally, a “pocket” at the end of the scrapbook contained various items such as graduation announcements, grades, and other photographs. These are found after the last page of
the scrapbook.
