Althaus -Members: -Conduct or Assist with Heritage Tourism Activities and Promotion -Maintain Contact With Local Preservation Organizations, City Staff, Landmark Commissions and Historical
Committees, Museums, Archeological Projects, Student Historical Clubs, etc.. -Coordinate BCHC/THC/NPS Activities Along El Camino Real NHT in Brazos Co. -Prepare Reports for BCHC Meetings
FINANCE & BUDGET Chairman – Ray George -Members: -Prepare Annual Budget Request Using Information From Other Committees -Develop Guidelines and Administer Application Process for Outside
Funding Requests -Keep Current Balance Sheet for BCHC Expenditures vs. Budgeted Funds -Prepare Reports for BCHC Meetings
PUBLICITY Chairman – Anne Boykin -Members: -Prepare and Distribute Press Releases for BCHC notable activities and events -Cooperate in Research, Preparation, Publication and Distribution
of Maps, Guides and Pamphlets -Work With County Webmaster to Keep BCHC Website Content Current -Prepare Reports for BCHC Meetings ENDANGERED PROPERTIES Chairman – -Members: -Monitor
Legal Notices and Local News Stories For Projects Affecting Historical Sites or Structures -Develop List of High-Priority Properties to Watch and Provide Advocacy When Needed -Respond
to Any Requests For Information on Endangered Properties -Prepare Reports for BCHC Meetings
