Call the meeting to order. 2. Discussion of consent and regular agenda items. 3. Discussion of Minor and Amending Plats approved by Staff. • College Station Memorial Cemetery FH-1 (FP-Amending) Case #08- 00500199 (LB) • College Station Memorial Cemetery MC-1 & IN-1 (FP-Amending) Case #08-00500200 (LB) 4. Presentation, possible action, and discussion regarding an update to the Commission on the status of items within the 2008 P&Z Plan of Work (see attached) and development of the 2009 P&Z Plan of Work. (JS) 5. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on Tree Preservation. (MR) 6. Presentation, possible action, and discussion regarding the removal of master plans and amending other subdivision standards relating to the extraterritorial jurisdiction. (JS) 7. Presentation, possible action, and discussion regarding Ordinance Amendments to Ch. 13 Flood Hazard Protection Ordinance including proposed Zero-Rise requirements to Floodplains. (AG) 8. Presentation, possible action and discussion regarding an update on the following item(s): • Annexation of 1.02 acres on Rock Prairie Road West. The Commission heard this item on 21 August and voted 6-0 to recommend approval. The City Council heard this item on 25 September and voted 7-0 for approval. • A Comprehensive Plan Amendment for 3.31 acres from Single-Family Residential, Medium Density to Planned Development for the property located at 510 Chimney Hill Drive generally located west of the intersection of Chimney Hill Drive and Arguello Drive. The Commission heard this item on 4 September and voted 7-0 to recommend approval. The City Council heard this item on 25 September and voted 7-0 for approval. • A rezoning request for 34.06 acres of the Oakland Ridge Subdivision from A- O, Agricultural-Open to R-1, Single Family Residential, R-3, Townhomes, and R-4, Multi-Family Residential located off Jones-Butler Road and near Cain Road, adjacent to the Las Palomas Subdivision. The Commission heard this item on 21 August and voted 7-0 to recommend approval. The City Council heard this item on 11 September and voted 7-0 for approval. • Amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance to create a Landmark Commission and establish Historic Preservation Overlay regulations. The Commission heard this item on 14 August and voted 4-0 for approval with a recommendation to change the requirement for alternate members of the Landmark Commission. The City Council heard this item on 11 September and voted 7-0 to approve the ordinance as recommended by the Commission. 9. Presentation, discussion and possible action regarding the Comprehensive Planning process. 11. Discussion, review and possible action regarding the following meetings: Design Review Board, Council Transportation Committee, Joint Bryan P&Z/College Station P&Z Committee on Common Gateways and Corridors, Joint Parks/Planning & Zoning Subcommittee, CSISD Long Range Education Planning Committee. 12. Discussion and possible action on future agenda items - A Planning and Zoning Member may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. Any deliberation shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting. 13. Adjourn. _Consultation with Attorney {Gov't Code Section 551.071} ;possible action. The Planning and Zoning Commission may seek advice from its attorney regarding a pending and contemplated litigation subject or attorney-client privileged information. After executive session discussion, any final action or vote taken will be in public. If litigation or attorney-client privileged information issues arise as to the posted subject matter of this Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, an executive session will beheld.
