AN ORDINANCE REZONING SEVEN TRACTS OF LAND LOCATED IN THE RICHARD CARTER LEAGUE
IN COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY TEXAS, AND BEING A PART OF A 200 ACRE TRACT
CONVEYED TO FANNIE PUTZ BY JACOB LUZA, ET. UX., AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 66, PAGE
585, DEED RECORDS OF BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS AND BEING MORE FULLY DESCRIBED BY METES
AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT R -1 TO GENERAL
COMMERICAL DISTRICT C -1, APARTMENT BUILDING DISTRICT R -4, ADMINISTRATIVE - PROFESSIONAL
DISTRICT A -P, AND TOWNHOUSE DISTRICT R -3.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on
Thursday, February 12, 1981 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the
City Limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of the following seven (7) tracts of land,
all lying and being situated in the Richard Carter League in College Station, Brazos
County, Texas and being a part of a 200 acre tract conveyed to Fannie Putz by Jacob
Luza, Et. Ux., as recorded in Volume 66, page 585, Deed Records of Brazos County,
Texas, and being more fully described by metes and bounds as follows:
TRACT NO. 1:
Being a 22.880 acre tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the
Richard Carter League in College Station, Brazos County, Texas and being part of a
200 acre tract conveyed to Fannie Putz by Jacob Luza et. ux., as recorded in Volume 66,
Page 585, Deed Records, Brazos County, Texas, and more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron rod at the northeasternmost corner of the Fed Mart Develop-
ment Corp. Subdivision recorded in Volume 331, Page 135, Deed Records, Brazos County,
Texas, said corner being on the eastern right of way of Tarrow Street,
THENCE N 4 50' 51" E for a distance of 210.00' along the eastern right of way
of Tarrow Street to a point for a corner,
THENCE N 88 21" E for a distance of 830.00',
THENCE N 84 E for a distance of 575.43',
THENCE S 21 4' 27" E for a distance of 625.55' to a point on the northern right
of way of University Drive,
THENCE S 68 55' 33" W along the northern right of way of University Drive for a

which is also the POINT OF BEGINNING containing 22.880 acres more or less from Single

Being a 11.895 acre tract of parcel of land lying and being situated in the
Richard Carter League in College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being part of
a 200 acre tract conveyed to Fannie Putz by Jacob Luza et. ux., as recorded in
Volume 66, Page 585, Deed Records, Brazos County, Texas, and more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at an iron rod at the northeasternmost corner of the Fed Mart
Development Corp. Subdivision recorded in Volume 331, Page 135, Deed Records,
Brazos County, Texas, said corner being on the eastern right of way of Tarrow
Street,

way of Tarrow Street to a POINT OF BEGINNING,

And, it is ordained that said changes shall become effective immediately.
