BY LYDIA BORISKIE BY DEED RECORDED IN VOLUME 317, PAGE 26 OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY DEED RECORDS FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, DISTRICT R-lC TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, DISTRICT C-1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station has been presented a petition by the owners of the herein described tract of land to rezone the same from Single Family Residential District, District R-lC to General Commercial District, District C-1; THEREFORE, it is hereby ordered that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of College Station shall consider the above request according to the provisions of Section 13-A of Ordinance No. 850 and shall make recommendation to the City Council prior to the 26th day of August, 1974; and It is hereby ordered that a public hearing be held at the City Hall in College Station, Texas at 7:00 P.M. on August 26, 1974 on the question of rezoning all of that certain tract of land in the City of College Station described as follows: Being all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the Morgan Rector League, Abstract No. 46, in Brazos County, Texas and being a part of a 205.08 acre tract conveyed to Brentwood, Inc. by Lydia Boriskie by deed dated June 19, 1973 and recorded in Volume 317, Page 26 of the deed records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: COMMENCING at a point in the northeast right-of-way line of South Texas Avenue (Old State Highway 6) said point also being the southwest corner of said 205.08 acre tract; THENCE N 41048'30" E 300.10 feet to a point for the PLACE OF BEGINNING; THENCE N 41048'30" E 474.74 feet to a point for corner; THENCE S 49031'21" E 1155.52 feet to a point for corner in the northerly right-of-way of the proposed Southwest Parkway; THENCE S 42015'45" W 474.86 feet along said right-of-way to a point for corner in the eastern limits of the present commercial zone; THENCE N 49031'21" W 1153.48 feet along said commercial zone limits to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing 12.58 acres of land more or less from Single Family Residential District, District R-lC to General Commercial District, District C-1.
