AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 8.76 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE
STARLINE RIDGE SUBDIVISION FROM DISTRICT R-1C, SINGLE FAMILY RESI-
DENTIAL DISTRICT, TO DISTRICT R-3, APARTMENT BUILDING DISTRICT, AND
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF
THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P. M. on
Monday, March 26, 1973, on the question of rezoning certain areas within the city
limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain tract or parcel of land
lying and being situated in the Richard Carter League in College Station, Brazos
County, Texas, being part of a 13.54 acre tract conveyed to Pauline Putz Higgins
by deed recorded in Volume 287, Page 814 of the Deed Records of Brazos County,
Texas, and also being a part of a 13.54 acre tract conveyed to Sylvia Putz Willing-
ham by deed recorded in Volume 287, Page 817 of the Deed Records of Brazos
County, Texas, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a paint along the common boundary line between Tract 4 (Pauline Putz
Mr✓" Higgins) and Tract 3 of the Putz Division and a distance of 280 feet from their com-
mon corner on the southeast right-of-way line of FM 60 (University Drive);
Thence N 820 57' E 542 feet to a point;
Thence S 140 51' 58 feet to a point along the common boundary between Tract 4
(Pauline Putz Higgins) and Tract 5 (Sylvia Putz Willingham);
Thence S 450 28' E 733.5 feet to a point on the common boundary of said Tracts 4 and 5;
Thence S 440 32' W 467.8 feet to a point along the common boundary of Tracts 3 and 4;
Thence N 450 28' W 939.1 feet to the point of beginning and containing 8.76 acres of land
moire or less from District R-1C, Single Family Residential District, ,to District R-3,
Apartment Building District, and it is ordained that said change be effective immediately.
