review artist renderings of the planned Health Sci-
ence Center' campus In west Bryan. The pictures
were unveiled Wednesday during a formal ground-
breaking for the site, which drew community lead-
ers, elected officials and administrators from the
Texas A&M System, the cities of Bryan and College
Station, and Brazos County. Construction is set to
start this spring, and the first buildings are expect-
ed to open in 2010. The Texas A&M University Sys-
tem Board of Regents selected the 200-acre site In
Bryan -worth more than S6 million and given to
the university system by the City Council - In
December 2006.
