St. Joseph Catholic School
in Bryan has several activi-
ties scheduled to recognize
Catholic Schools Week, a
nationwide celebration that
kicked off Sunday.
"This week is important
because it lets others know
that we are in the community
and that we can offer a quali-
ty education for their child,"
said Michael Burke, presi-
dent of the St. Joseph Educa-
tion System. "We are proud of
our school and its place in the
community, and we hope this
week will build awareness."
A Mass was said Sunday at
the Christ the Good Shepherd
Chapel on Coulter Street. An
