AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11, SECTION 2.A (2), OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, RELATING TO
SCHEDULE OF RATES FOR SEWER SERVICES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
That Chapter 11, Section 2.A (2), of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College Station,
Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 2: WATER AND SEWER SERVICES
(2)
Rates for Sewerage Service
(a)
For resident customers using sewerage service for household purpo~s,
individually metered single family and individually metered duplex family
residences, within the corporate limits of the City:
Service Charge:
Maximum Billing:
$14.15 first 4,000 gallons of water metered
Usage Charge: $2.40 per 1,000
gallons of water usage for the next
4,000 gallons of water metered.
$23.75cap for metered water is 8,000
gallons
(b)
For resident customers using sewerage service for household purposes,
multi-family residences (non-individually metered single family, non-
individually metered duplexes, triplexes, quadruplexs, apartments,
fraternities, sororities, etc) within the corporate limits of the City:
Monthly Charge per
Household Unit:
$20.00
For resident customers using sewerage service for commercial and/or
industrial business establishments within the corporate limits of the City:
Service Charge:
$6.95 per month
(d)
Usage Charge: $2.40 per 1,000 gallons of water usage.
For resident customers using sewerage service outside the corporate limits
of the City:
Charges per month shall be 1.15 times the amounts set for forth in (a)
and (b) above."

That Chapter 11, Section 2.E of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College Station, Texas, is
hereby mended to read as follows:
"E. EFFECTIVE DATE OF RATES
These rates shall be effective on all invoices submitted by the City of College Station to
users on or aRer February 1, 1997."

Should any section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance be declared
unconstitutional or invalid for any purpose, the remainder of this ordinance shall not be affected
thereby.
And, it is ordained that this Ordinance shall become effective from and after its passase in
accordance with the City Charter of the City of College Station.
