AN ORDINANCE KEZONING A PARCEL OF LAND TOTALING 2.46 ACRES LOCATED
IN THE ROBERT STEVENSON LEAGUE, ABSTRACT NO. $4, BRAZOS COUNTY,
TEXAS, SAID TRACT BEING ALL THAT 2.453 ACRE TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED TO
JAMES MICHAEL CREAGOR BY CLARA B. WINDER ET AL, RECORDED IN VOLUME
1911, PAGE 174 OF THE OFFICIAL RECORDS OF BKAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
The subject 2.46 acre tract described by metes and bounds in the attached Exhibit "A"
and shown graphically in Exhibit "B" is rezoned from A-O Agricultural Open to C-3
Planned Commercial.
A notice of the time and place, where and when said ordinance would be given a public heating
and considered for final passage, was published in The Eagle, a daily newspaper of general
circulation in the Cities of Bryan and College Station, said publication being on Wednesday,
February 11, 1998, the same being at least fifteen (15) days prior to a public hearing to be held in
the Council Room of the City Hall in College Station, Texas, at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, February
26, 1998, to permit the public to be heard prior to final consideration of this ordinance.

8sing oll of that certain tract or parcel of land lying
and being situated in the ROBERT STEVENSON LEAGUE, A-54,
College Station, Brazos County, Texas and being oil of that
2.455 acre tract of land conveyed to James Mlchoel Creagor
by Clara B. Winder et al, recorded in
Volume 1911 page 174, Official Records of Brazos County,
Texas and being described as follows:
BEGINNING: at a 1/2" Iron rod found at the west corner of
said 2.4.5,3 acre tract; same being .the south corner of the
Michael Lee Barker 4.99 acre tract (2201/160); also being in
the northeast right-of-way line of State Hwy. 6;
THENCE: N 40'35'06" E - 305.55 feet along the common line
between said 2.453 acre tract and said Barker tract to a
1/2" iron rod set for the most northerly common corner of
said tracts; same being.in the southwest line of the L. G.
Jones 47.92 acre tract (484/387);
THENCE: S 47'52'20" E - 372.4.2 feet along the common line
between this 2.~,53 acre tract and
said Jones tract to a 1/2" iron rod set at a common corner
of said tracts;
THENCE: S 38'50'22" W- 281.75 feet continuing along said
common line to a 1/2" iron rod set for the most southerly
common corner of said tracts; same being in said State Hwy.
6 Ilne;
THENCE: N 44'01'21" W - 178.29 feet along said State Hwy. 6
line to a 1/2" iron rod set for an angle point;
THENCE: N 60'55'25.' W- 154.21 feet continuing along said
State Hwy. 6 line to o concrete Hwy. right-of-way monument
found for an angle point;
THENCE: N 49'17'47' W- 52.26 feet continuing along said
State Hwy. 6 line to the PLACE OF BEGINNING; and contbining
2.4.6 acres of land, more or less, according to a survey made
on the ground under the supervlsion of Donald D. Garrett,
Registered Professional Land Surveyor, No. 2972 on July 26,
1996.
